If going for true to form, the contrast needs to be changed. If you're tailoring it to not look true to form, I would change nothing.
I like how you've composed the images. More contrast, I think, though. Actually, although you'd lose the blue sky -- this work, as is, might really rock as high contrast greyscale. Stark b&w would emphasize the lines and shapes.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

i think i do need some orange, a spot of color that stands out.word.
and I like to work on a larger canvas then needed so I have some choices when I finally crop, part of this will probably wrap around to the back cover
